Pro Care | 11 and 12 February 2025 | Hannover Fair Ground
SpotlightStage
On 11 February at 10 a.m., the trade fair will be opened on the large SpotlightStage with political celebrities. Afterwards, visitors can look forward to a varied programme that will focus on the use of artificial intelligence in care, among other things. A practical presentation with insights into how digital solutions can make everyday care easier. At the same time, the associated ethical issues will also be addressed - as in the presentation by HUM Systems: ‘Between technology and ethics: the debate about AI in care’. In addition to technological innovations, the agenda also includes presentations on employee retention and recruitment, which will highlight sustainable strategies for the care sector.
The second day of the trade fair will be opened by the german author and qualified physician Dr Eckart von Hirschhausen. ‘Humane human medicine needs people! Nurses are the largest professional group in the healthcare sector. We already lack them today. And even more so when more people need treatment and care and fewer and fewer people are entering the profession. Therefore: treat nursing care with care and respect today, pay it fairly and open up future prospects. Then we can all look forward to tomorrow,’ says Hirschhausen.
InnoStage
The InnoStage invites you to experience the future of care at first hand. Start-ups present innovative products and services in short pitches, highlighting new opportunities for the care sector. But established companies also have the opportunity to showcase their innovations alongside their regular trade fair stand. For example, Help Tech will be presenting a back-friendly exoskeleton for carers that has been developed to relieve the strain of patient transfers.
Participation Area - the Charging Station
The ‘Charging station’ hands-on area („Ladestation“) focuses on the health and well-being of care professionals. Whether breathing exercises for stress management, life kinetics and yoga exercises or tips for better sleep and from sleep coach Markus Kamps - this is where carers will find practical support for their demanding everyday lives. The programme is complemented by keynote speeches on topics such as conflict management, stress regulation and emotional intelligence by coaches from the ‘Soul Nurses’ mental health platform.
Pop Up - Workshops
Practical workshops in the ‘Pop-Up Area’ offer both managers in the care sector and care professionals the opportunity to learn about concrete solutions for everyday working life. Be it the optimal handling of shift work or conflict management in a team. Tools such as the digital activity table ‘Care Table’ can also be tried out here. In addition, knowledge on occupational health management (OHM) in the care sector will be imparted interactively.
Accompanying specialist congress ‘Caring for the future’
The specialist congress ‘Future Care’ in the Convention Centre, under the direction of the bpa, is primarily aimed at employees from management and administration. The Bundesverband privater Anbieter sozialer Dienste e. V. (bpa) contributes its many years of experience and expertise to the congress as a central point of contact for administrations, ministries and political decision-makers. Among other things, the two-day specialist congress will focus on the economic situation of care facilities and the social impact of the staffing and care crisis.
‘At the beginning of the year, we are addressing the pressing issues with this congress,’ says bpa President Bernd Meurer: ’What have the political endeavours of recent months achieved for the sector? How do organisations and providers need to position themselves in the coming months? The interplay of the innovative ‘Pro Care’ will create a congress that focuses on dialogue with decision-makers and the responsible players in politics and associations.’ The permanent congress ticket also includes admission to ProCare. learn more
Interdisciplinary Exchange at Pro Care
‘With Pro Care, we are creating a platform that facilitates interdisciplinary dialogue and strengthens the care sector in the long term. Our supporting programme brings practical solutions to the people who work in the care sector and face major challenges every day - from carers to decision-makers. This is what makes Pro Care unique,’ says Heike Grosch, Project Manager of Pro Care.
Be there when constructive ideas for the care of tomorrow are presented in Hanover in February 2025 under the motto ‘So that care has a future’.
