Hannover/Germany. Preparations for Deutsche Messe's new care trade fair Pro Care are entering the hot phase. From 11 to 12 February 2025, Pro Care will celebrate its eagerly awaited premiere at the exhibition grounds in Hannover. The trade fair has now secured a strong partner for the accompanying congress: the German Association of Private Social Service Providers (bpa).
With its expertise, the bpa will ensure that the congress is not only highly topical, but also trend-setting for the care sector. As one of the leading players in the German care landscape, the bpa is the central point of contact for administrations, ministries and political decision-makers at all levels.
With over 13,000 member organisations, the association is the largest representative body for private providers of social services in Germany - ‘and exactly the right partner for the forward-looking Pro Care congress,’ said project manager Heike Grosch from Deutsche Messe AG, adding that the aim is to establish a long-term partnership.
‘At the beginning of the year, we are addressing the pressing issues with this congress,’ says bpa President Bernd Meurer. ‘What have the political efforts of recent months achieved for the sector? What can still be expected before the federal elections in autumn? How do providers and organisations need to position themselves in the coming months? How do politicians and the economy as a whole view the care sector? The interplay between the innovative Pro Care will create a congress that focuses on dialogue with decision-makers and the responsible players in politics and associations.’
The two-day specialist congress will also look at the economic situation of care facilities and the social impact of the staffing and care crisis. Participants will take the views of leading speakers from politics, science and care practice into their everyday care work. In addition to information, practical workshops will also provide impetus for the future orientation of outpatient and inpatient providers in the care and integration assistance sectors.
The premiere of Pro Care in cooperation with the bpa thus promises to be a trend-setting forum for the future of the care sector.
