SleepAngel's medical pillows, duvets, positioners and mattresses exclude pathogens. The inside of the bedding is completely free from pathogens and allergens. This is ensured by the special outer material and welded seams. The patented PneumaPure filter enables air exchange.
Filter function and sleeping comfort
Conventional pillows, blankets and positioning cushions offer no protection against the penetration of pathogens and allergens, even if they are waterproof and wipeable. Seams and zips are often neglected gateways for bacteria, viruses, fungal spores and mites. The unique combination of impermeable fabric, taped seams and the PneumaPureTM filter in SleepAngel bedding ensures that the interior remains free of pathogens.
Various factors such as the quality of the outer fabric, the filling, temperature equalisation and air exchange are important for good sleeping comfort. Particular attention must be paid to air exchange with regard to the hygienic properties of bedding. Without air exchange, pillows, blankets and positioning aids would feel unnatural. With conventional bedding, air exchange takes place via the outer fabric, seams and zips. If, for example, pillows are completely sealed so that no pathogens can penetrate, the air also remains trapped, similar to an air mattress. SleepAngel® bedding is therefore equipped with the PneumaPureTM filter system. The air can flow in and out, but the inside remains free of pathogens and allergens.
